The First Wear Is Only the Beginning
Field Myth began at a worn kitchen table after a long weekend at deer camp.
Longtime hunting partners Cole Maddox and Wade Mercer kept returning to the same frustration: most hunting shirts were either technical gear you could only wear in the woods or cheap graphic tees that lost their shape and character after a few washes.
They wanted something different—a shirt made for real hunters and real bodies. Comfortable across the shoulders, easy through the midsection and substantial enough to wear at camp, in the garage, around town or wherever the next road leads.
Because hunting has never been only about the harvest.
It’s coffee before daylight. Frost on the tailgate. Miles walked without a word. It’s the old camp, the worn trail and the stories that become a little better every time they’re told.
Eventually, those stories become myths.
That’s where Field Myth comes from.

Our signature graphic tees begin with the premium Comfort Colors® 1717—a heavyweight 6.1 oz, garment-dyed shirt made from soft ring-spun cotton. It feels broken-in from the first wear while remaining sturdy enough for years of regular use.
Every design is produced using premium screen printing or high-definition DTG, with the process selected specifically for the artwork. The result is rich color, sharp detail and a print that develops naturally with the fabric instead of feeling like a layer of plastic sitting on top of it.
Most clothing looks its best when it’s brand new.
Field Myth is made to look better with age.
With every wash, the cotton becomes softer. The garment-dyed color develops more character. The artwork gradually settles into the shirt, creating the honest, worn-in appearance of something that has already been through a few seasons with you.
The fading isn’t a flaw. It’s part of the story.
Our designs are inspired by the world hunters know: early mornings, distant ridgelines, old camps, hard-earned harvests and legends passed from one generation to the next. They don’t need to shout. The meaning is there for those who recognize it.
We’re not trying to become the loudest hunting brand.
We simply want to make the shirt you keep reaching for—one that becomes softer, more personal and better-looking the longer you own it.
Wear it hard. Wash it often. Give it a history.
Welcome to Field Myth.
Built for the stories you earn. Better with every season.
